I’m going to answer the following question : What is a great thing about your country and why is it great? What do you think is a problem in your country and how can this problem be fixed?

First of all, I think a great thing about my country, Republic of Korea, is that Korean are diligent. Almost all Korean from the young to the old are hardworking. Students under competitive education system do their best to learn more things for their future. Adults work for very long time compared to other countries. Korean diligence makes Korea develop economy very fast. Korea was one of the the most poor countries in the world in 1950s ; they suffered from war and starvation. However, it becomes a leading and dynamic country through diligence.

However, I suggest that the problem in Korea is the cozy relations between politics and business ; some politicians pass a bill associated with making profits of some business, and they offer money for political activities. Some people cannot gain their profit because of them, and some people may lose their jobs. To fix this problem, politicians and business men should consider majority of people in Korea.
